Hi gents!I am selling a Volumio Rivo streamer which I bought used here on SNA a few months back! I have also the lineal power supply, but is not included in sale!Because I dont use it anymore I would like to sell it! Preferably pick up, but I can ship it at my expanse!
This is a buyer’s market for high-end streamers, and the A$950 asking price for the used Volumio RIVO is a strong deal, sitting well below the 25th percentile of A$864 from recent comparable listings where the median is A$1,174. At nearly A$190 under that 25th mark, this is a genuine bargain for a well-regarded product.
The Volumio RIVO is prized for its clean, transparent digital transport that hands audio to your DAC without coloring the sound, making it ideal for audiophiles who want pure, natural flow. As a compact, original-owner unit in excellent condition with no noted flaws, it offers meaningful upside in timing and rarity—especially at this price point, where you’re securing a high-performance streamer without the usual premium.

Volumio traces its origins to Florence, Italy, a cradle of artistic and artisanal excellence, where it was founded by Michelangelo Guarise. This Italian innovator assembled a team of engineers, music lovers, and audiophiles driven by a passion for superior sound and elegant design. Emerging from a landscape rich in craftsmanship, Volumio has evolved over more than a decade, channeling that heritage into cutting-edge audio solutions that honor precision and purpose—exemplified by projects like the Motivo streamer, born from collaborations with design firm Design Narratives and audio specialist Yottamusic.
The brand specializes in digital audio streaming and playback, centering on its proprietary Volumio OS—a lightweight, Linux-based operating system optimized for audiophile-grade music reproduction across platforms like Raspberry Pi, Windows, and dedicated hardware. Known for streamers such as the acclaimed Primo, equipped with high-end ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DACs, precision clocks, and innovative METACLOCK technology, Volumio excels in reclocking audio streams via FPGA for jitter-free performance. It supports vast formats including DSD and multichannel, with open-source plugins expanding functionality like Roon Bridge integration, while powering products from other high-end manufacturers.
Volumio holds a strong niche in the high-end digital audio market as an agile innovator, bridging software prowess with hardware refinement to deliver reliable, format-agnostic streaming. Praised in audiophile circles for efficiency and expandability, it appeals to discerning buyers seeking premium digital fronts without bloat, positioning itself as a mid-to-high-tier contender that accelerates innovation in a competitive field.
