RADAR is operated by Sound Media Group Pty Ltd ("we", "us"), publisher of StereoNET.com, registered in Victoria, Australia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

1. What we collect

When you browse

• Server access logs: IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, timestamp — retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Country (ISO-3166 alpha-2): derived from Cloudflare's CF-IPCountry header for regional price filtering and to determine whether cookie consent is required.
• Theme preference: stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not transmitted to us.

When you have an account

RADAR accounts are issued through StereoNET's central sign-on (Invision Community / IPS OAuth). When you sign in we receive:

• Display name, email address, and IPS member ID
• Country of registration (from Cloudflare at the time of first sign-in)
• Marketing consent flag and timestamp (only if you ticked the box at registration on StereoNET)
• Saved searches and saved listings you create on RADAR

2. What we don't do

• We don't sell personal data.
• We don't use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel) at the time of writing.
• We don't read your data from other StereoNET properties beyond what's required for sign-on.

3. Cookies

See our cookie policy for the full breakdown. In short:

• Essential cookies (session, CSRF, theme, consent flag) — always set, no consent required.
• Advertising cookies — only set after you accept all on the consent banner. EU/UK/EEA/Swiss visitors must opt in before any advertising script loads.

4. Email alerts

If you create a saved search with email alerts enabled, we send you matching listings by email. You can disable alerts on any saved search at My searches at any time.

5. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

• Show you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete your RADAR-side data (saved searches, etc). Your underlying StereoNET account is managed separately at stereonet.com.
• Export your saved searches as a portable file

6. EU / UK GDPR specifics

If you're in the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland, our lawful bases for processing are:

• Contract — to provide RADAR's account features you signed up for (saved searches, email alerts).
• Legitimate interest — for security logging, fraud prevention, and aggregating listings.
• Consent — for advertising cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner footer link or by emailing us.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Data storage

Personal data is stored on servers in Australia. Backups are encrypted. If we ever transfer data outside Australia, we'll update this policy with the safeguards in place.

8. Children

RADAR is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way we'll notify account holders by email. Minor changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
