Behringer Tube Ultragain MIC100
A simple single-channel tube preamp and DI box designed to add a bit of warmth and saturation to microphones, instruments and line-level sources. The MIC100 combines a hand-selected 12AX7 tube with solid-state circuitry, giving everything from vocals and acoustic guitars to basses and synths a touch of analogue character. It also works well as an affordable DI box, with phantom power for condenser microphones, a built-in limiter and enough gain to bring life to budget recording setups. Despite its low price, it's become a popular studio utility for adding subtle colour and extra gain where needed.
