Es handelt sich hierbei um die historisch wertvollste und klanglich beste Urversion. Im Gegensatz zu späteren, schwereren Nachfolgern aus Pressspan, wurden diese frühen Gehäuse komplett aus hochwertigem, resonanzoptimiertem Birkensperrholz (Birch Plywood) gefertigt. Zusammen mit den originalen, eloxierten Aluminium-Lochblech-Abdeckungen (kein Stoff!) ist dieses Paar ein extrem seltenes Dokument britischer HiFi-Geschichte. Im Inneren arbeiten die legendären Hochtöner vom Typ Celestion HF1300.
Optik: Absoluter Sammlerzustand. Die Gehäuse sind makellos, das Furnier ist tiefenrein ohne Kratzer, Wasserränder oder bestoßene Ecken. Die originalen Aluminium-Gitter sind perfekt gerade und ohne Dellen. 100 % funktionstüchtig. Die Speaker Verbindung ist sehr dezent auf moderne Bananenbuchsen umgerüstet.
