Das Gerät lässt sich problemlos einschalten, Display und Fernbedienung funktionieren einwandfrei. Nach Aussage des Vorbesitzers befindet sich der Defekt im Bereich der Vorstufe bzw. der Lautstärkeregelung (Widerstands-/Relaiskaskade). Beim Betätigen des Lautstärkereglers schalten die Relais hörbar, die Lautstärke wird jedoch nicht korrekt geregelt.
Ich habe den Verstärker als reine Endstufe getestet. Über die Main-In-Eingänge (ehemalige Pre-Out/Main-In-Anschlüsse) spielt er auf beiden Kanälen sauber, kraftvoll und ohne hörbare Auffälligkeiten. Die Endstufe scheint somit einwandfrei zu funktionieren.
Optisch befindet sich der Verstärker in einem gepflegten Zustand mit lediglich leichten, altersüblichen Gebrauchsspuren. Das Gerät ist äußerst massiv aufgebaut und überzeugt durch eine hochwertige Verarbeitung.
Da ich momentan weder Zeit noch Interesse habe, den Fehler weiter zu suchen oder zu beheben, wird der Verstärker ausdrücklich als defektes Bastlergerät verkauft. Ideal für technisch versierte Bastler, zur Reparatur, als Ersatzteilspender oder zur weiteren Nutzung als Endstufe.
