Seller's Description

Trafomatic Audio Evolution Two 300B Integrated Amplifier (Valve) For sale is a great 300B amp, still current model. Unlike most 300b designs this amp is dead quiet, even when used with high efficient speakers. (I was using with 97db efficient Ambience Speakers)    The speakers I was using it with are on a permanent loan to a friend, and while it sound amazing, it just doesn’t have the guts to power the Lenehan ML2 Limited speakers properly (also for sale).   EML mesh plate tubes not included, it will come with a small selection of tubes, I’ll comment when I get time to sort through the box and

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This Trafomatic sits in the sweet spot of the brand’s reputation: big, spacious 300B sound with real drive for an integrated, and the A$4,250 ask looks like a strong deal versus your database’s recent market, which shows a median of A$7,587 and a 25th percentile of A$4,337. Being slightly under the 25th percentile is the key signal here: this is priced more like a bargain than a merely fair buy.

What makes it appealing is the usual 300B charm done at a higher-end level: holographic mids, natural timbre, and enough refinement to make efficient speakers sing. If the listing is clean and complete, the upside is obvious; just confirm valve health, service history, and that the amp is set up for local use, since older tube gear is best bought on condition as much as price.

About Trafomatic Audio

Trafomatic Audio emerged in 1997 from the Serbian city of Mladenovac, founded by engineer Sasa Cokic. Initially focused on crafting high-quality toroidal transformers—reflected in the brand's name, derived from "trafomatic"—the company swiftly expanded into tube electronics. This evolution accelerated through a key partnership with Austrian loudspeaker maker WLM, where Trafomatic produced bespoke valve amplifiers, honing chassis designs that later defined their own lineup.

The brand specializes in premium tube-based amplification, delivering integrated and power amplifiers renowned for their purity and power. Models like the EOS integrated (€8500 in Europe) and the flagship Elysian, featuring dual GM70 triodes, exemplify their mastery of transformer-coupled triode circuits. Push-pull designs with robust tubes such as KT120 further showcase their emphasis on high-output valve gear, prioritizing musical fidelity over mass production.

Trafomatic occupies a niche boutique position in the high-end hi-fi market, celebrated among audiophiles for bleeding-edge, tailor-made systems that command premium prices. Sasa Cokic earns comparisons to legendary designers like Kondo, underscoring the brand's cult reputation for transformative sound that serves music above all.
