Seller's Description

Hallo zusammen,

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This €125 asking price is ambitious for a used Sennheiser HD 25 in EUR condition, sitting well above the median used asking price of €91 and exceeding the 75th percentile of €100 from our recent comparable EUR listings. While a new unit typically retails around €125 in EUR, paying full new price for a used item in this condition offers little value unless the listing includes rare accessories or pristine original-owner provenance that justifies the premium.

The HD 25 remains a workhorse favorite among DJs and audio pros for its rugged durability, replaceable parts, and punchy, reliable sound that cuts through loud environments up to 120 dB. Its 70-ohm impedance works well with both mobile devices and professional gear, and the closed-back design ensures solid isolation. If this listing includes the original cable, case, or extra ear pads, it could edge toward fair value, but at €125 without extras, it’s a hard pass compared to the €85–€100 market range.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Sennheiser

Founded in June 1945 by Dr. Fritz Sennheiser in a farmhouse near Hanover, Germany, Sennheiser began as Laboratorium Wennebostel, producing voltmeters and early microphones amid post-World War II reconstruction. Seven engineers from the University of Hannover joined the founder, quickly pivoting to broadcast microphones like the DM 2 in 1946 and the groundbreaking MD 82 shotgun mic in 1956. Renamed Sennheiser electronic in 1958, the family-owned company passed to second- and third-generation leadership, maintaining its innovative spirit over eight decades.

Sennheiser excels in professional and consumer audio, renowned for microphones, wireless systems, and headphones that set industry standards. Pioneers of the first open-back headphones (HD 414 in 1968) and enduring studio icons like the MD 421 and MD 441, they also produce high-end headphones, earbuds, soundbars, and conferencing solutions. While strong in pro audio like mixers and geophysical gear, their consumer focus centers on headphones and wireless tech rather than amplifiers, speakers, turntables, DACs, or cables.

Sennheiser commands a premium position in the hi-fi market, blending mid-tier accessibility with high-end excellence for discerning buyers and professionals. Trusted for reliability and sonic precision, it appeals to audiophiles seeking reference-grade headphones without boutique obscurity, backed by a heritage of technological firsts that sustains its global leadership.
