Seller's Description

NAD Electronics 326BEE Integrated Amplifier (Solid State) For sale is my NAD 326BEE that I bought from HiFi Trader in Newtown in Dec 2014.    It's in really good condition, and has given me many hours of sonic joy. As the original remote (included) doesn't work, I have included an aftermarket one that I bought on the internet (untested).   Happy to audition.    Can post, but don't know how much that would cost at this moment in time.  Condition: Excellent Payment Method: Paypal, PayId, EFT, Cash on Pickup Region/State: (NSW) New South Wales/Australia By maheshm 0 Comments   AUD $350 Date: June

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

It's a buyer's market for used NAD integrated amps right now, with our database of 110 recent comparable listings showing a median asking price of AUD 1,039 (25th percentile AUD 418, 75th percentile AUD 1,860). At AUD 350 for a 326BEE in unknown condition, this looks like a potential bargain—well below the low end of typical used pricing for solid examples, which often hover around AUD 500-800 depending on upkeep. That said, the vague condition disclosure warrants caution; it could be a steal or a project.

Before biting, verify the amp powers up cleanly without hum, distortion, or channel imbalance—NAD's budget lines like the 326BEE can suffer from failing electrolytic capacitors after 15-20 years, leading to noisy preamp stages. Check for the original remote, manual, and power cord, plus test all inputs/outputs. Probe the seller on service history to avoid a money pit.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About NAD

NAD Electronics was founded in 1972 in London by a group of European audio importers frustrated with the hype surrounding Japanese hi-fi products. Led by visionary American executive Martin L. Borish and brilliant engineer Bjorn Erik Edvardsen, the company emerged from a quest to deliver high-performance audio at accessible prices. Their breakthrough came with the NAD 3020 integrated amplifier, the best-selling hi-fi amp in history, which embodied a philosophy of stripping away non-essentials to prioritize pure sound quality.

The brand focuses on core hi-fi categories, excelling in amplifiers—pioneering Class A/B, Class G, and hybrid digital designs—alongside integrated receivers, AV processors, turntables, CD and cassette players, and modern streamers. While not venturing into speakers, headphones, or cables, NAD emphasizes source components and amplification that integrate seamlessly into home theater and custom installation setups, always upholding principles of innovation, simplicity, performance, and value.

Today, as part of Canada's Lenbrook Group and sold in over 80 countries, NAD holds a commanding mid-tier position in the market, revered by audiophiles for affordable excellence rather than ultra-high-end excess. Its "Truth in Power" legacy earns cult status among knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, award-winning gear that punches above its price, blending vintage heritage with contemporary streaming and hybrid tech.
