McIntosh MC-30 30-Watt Monoblock Tube Power Amplifier Just back from our tech after recently purchasing this from a long-time owner who had this shelved for quite a while. Brought back to life by our tech ( see notes below). Now it works and sounds amazing. There is some wear and light oxidization per photos. Overall Good condition per photos. The legendary MC-30 it is famous for its distinctively warm, mid-range heavy sound signature and exceptionally low distortion for its era.Condition - Moderate patina on chrome areas (see all photos).Service history: The following notes are from our tech who just completed work on this;"New JJ output tubes. Replaced all bumblebee caps and the main filter can capacitor. Bias diode was replaced with silicon and dropping resistor was replaced to maintain proper output tube bias. New power cord and fuse holder. Measured 40 watts output power. Very clean and quiet sound."In the Milwaukee Area?
