Laut Hersteller kombiniert der MRX 740 eine 11.2-Kanal-Vorverstärkersektion mit 7 integrierten Endstufen und bietet damit eine leistungsstarke Basis für moderne Mehrkanal-Setups mit Dolby Atmos, DTS:X und ARC Genesis Raumkorrektur.
Die 4K-Version des Anthem MRX 740 verfügt über HDMI 2.0b mit HDCP 2.2, HDMI eARC, Dolby Vision, HDR, Hybrid Log Gamma, BT.2020, 4K/60-Signalverarbeitung, IMAX Enhanced sowie einen HDMI-Ausgang für Zone 2.
