The MC2120 is a well-regarded classic McIntosh solid-state amplifier, notable for its autoformers, Power Guard, and flexible speaker-load options. At just US$15, this is an extraordinary bargain: your comparable listings put the 25th percentile at US$1,400 and the median at US$1,825, so the asking price is effectively giveaway territory.
Its 120 watts per channel, sturdy construction, and ability to run mono at 240 watts make it a genuinely useful amplifier rather than merely a collector piece. The main question is whether the listing is complete and functional: verify that it powers up, both channels work cleanly, the output terminals and switches are intact, and the serial number and chassis match. Even if it needs professional servicing, the margin at US$15 is enormous; if it is operational, this is an exceptional buy.
