Selling my Accuphase E-202 amplifier. I had a lot of restoration work done by Benny Amina of Modular Electronics last year (rebuilt power supply, driver stages, left output and protection circuit and added recepticals for banana speaker plugs). The unit has been working flawlessly for the past 8 months and sounds great (according to Benny better than any E-202 he has worked on). The faceplate is in excellent conditions, all knobs and buttons work as intended, as does the headphone jack. There are a few small nicks on the side due to age. I would rate the overall condition conservatively as a 7 and the operational condition a 10.I would prefer local pickup and am willing to meet buyer within a reasonable distance, but can ship securely at buyer's expense. The timing is neutral here: the E-202 is a classic vintage integrated, so what matters now is condition and service history more than market timing. That said, the E-202 is respected for a reason: Accuphase build quality, a refined phono stage, and a smooth, authoritative presentation that still holds up for serious vinyl and line-level listening. If it’s original-owner, unmodified, and documented serviced, the premium can make sense; if not, I’d want enough confidence in cosmetics, controls, and long-term stability to justify paying above the current used cluster.
