That said, the Beam Gen 2 is still a well-regarded compact soundbar: clean dialogue, solid room-filling output, and easy Sonos ecosystem integration are the main draws. If the unit is truly excellent, comes with the original accessories, and you want a tidy one-box upgrade without moving to a larger setup, it has real appeal — but I’d want some price movement before calling it a no-brainer buy.
