Seller's Description

Audio Note UK AN-P Parts Kit These are the same as current Audio Note UK AN-P type plug, except I believe these were in the days when it was still Audio Note Japan.  Cable entry hole on rear measures 6mm diameter.   Professionally removed from genuine AN cables a few years ago.  The tarnish on the silver comes off with any sort of contact cleaner. I believe these retail for around 95 AUD each (conversion equivalent of £45.69 from Hifi Collective in the UK).  Any questions, just PM me.  Listing is for the set of four, 2 black two black to make one set of interconnects. Condition: Good Payment M

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This A$1,750 asking price for a used Audio Note Kit Four integrated is a strong bargain in today’s market, sitting well below the typical used range for this model. While Audio Note gear varies widely, tube integrated amplifiers like the Kit Four generally list second-hand between A$3,500 and A$6,500 depending on condition and region, making this listing roughly 50% below the 25th percentile.

The Kit Four is well-regarded for its warm, musical tube sound and straightforward build, offering genuine hi-fi performance without digital clutter. It’s a rare find at this price, especially if it’s original-owner and includes the power cable and remote—common omissions that usually push prices higher. For a fellow enthusiast, this is a clear buying opportunity to grab a respected tube integrated at entry-level cost with significant upside in sonic quality and longevity.

About Audio Note

Audio Note (UK) traces its roots to 1991, when Peter Qvortrup, a seasoned valve amplifier designer with prior experience at Audio Innovations, founded the company in Sussex, England. Collaborating initially with Hiroyasu Kondo, Qvortrup launched the OTO PP integrated amplifier that year—a modular valve design still in production today, hand-built in their Partridge Green factory. This enduring debut underscores the brand's commitment to timeless engineering over fleeting trends.

The company specializes in complete, in-house valve-based audio systems, crafting everything from turntable cartridges and tonearms to preamplifiers, power amplifiers, DACs, speakers, and cables. Their modular philosophy permeates the lineup, allowing tailored configurations while prioritizing premium components like custom-wound transformers and silver wiring for purest signal paths.

Positioned as Europe's largest and most prestigious maker of ultra-performance valve hi-fi, Audio Note (UK) commands the high-end niche, appealing to discerning audiophiles seeking musical authenticity over mass-market convenience. With a global distribution network and a reputation for longevity, it stands as a boutique benchmark for those investing in heirloom-grade sound reproduction.
