Ambitious, and not a buy-it-now for me at A$1,750 unless it’s a truly exceptional matched pair or comes with solid test data. Typical used asks for Svetlana Winged C 300B pairs cluster much lower, with examples around the A$800-A$900 equivalent mark for used pairs and stronger NOS sets stretching higher, so this listing sits well above the usual used comfort zone.
That said, these are respected 300B valves for their tonal density, openness, and big-image presentation, and they’ve become harder to source cleanly. If the seller can prove strong emissions, low hours, matching, and original box/aging history, there’s real value here for a serious 300B owner; if not, the price is asking for confidence the listing hasn’t yet earned.
