Up for sale is this audiophile grade Music Hall Turntable with fantastic Denon Cartridge. The Music Hall MMF 2.2 is essentially a Raga turntable (made in the same factory) with a Project tonearm (see photos). I have upgraded this audiophile grade, belt driven turntable with an acrylic platter, a cork record mat, and, most importantly, a Denon DL-110. The DL-110 is a high output Moving Coil cartridge (meaning it works well with all turntables) that is highly renowned for its tracking ability and capacity to accurately reproduce depth, stereo imaging, and detail from your records. This cartridge runs, new, $450. I have only used this for a few months (it replaced my previous DL-110, which I used for many years) so it has been broken in and is ready for many years of great use.NOTE: I still have the Music Hall's original box and will ship this item in it. It provides robust padding. I can provide pictures, if you are interested.
Is US$600 a fair price for a used Music Hall MMF 2.2 in White, or are you paying the top of the market? Based on 23 recent comparable USD listings, the median sits at US$340, with the 75th percentile at US$600, making this asking price ambitious as it hits the upper bound rather than offering the typical value found near the median.
However, the MMF 2.2 remains a well-regarded entry-level audiophile turntable known for its solid belt-driven construction and excellent out-of-the-box sound, especially when paired with its included Magic 2 cartridge (or upgraded options like the Ortofon 2M Blue). If this unit is in original-owner condition with all accessories intact, the US$600 price reflects the rarity of the White finish and the premium of a clean, ready-to-play deck, turning it into a worthwhile buy for a buyer who prioritizes condition over hitting the median discount.

Music Hall traces its roots to April 1985, when Roy Hall founded Music Hall LLC in the United States. Initially focused on importing and distributing high-end audio products at accessible prices, the brand evolved under Hall's engineering vision, particularly with the launch of its first turntables in 1998. These early vinyl players showcased innovative designs emphasizing vibration isolation and sound quality, setting the tone for the company's heritage in delivering performance without excess cost.
The brand specializes in two-channel stereo components, with turntables as its cornerstone—manufactured in a Czech factory boasting over 50 years of expertise, while design and development occur at its U.S. headquarters. Music Hall's lineup extends to integrated amplifiers, phono preamps, headphone amps, and vinyl accessories like cleaners, prioritizing analog playback over multi-channel trends.
Positioned as a mid-tier audiophile favorite, Music Hall earns praise for high-value engineering that punches above its price point, appealing to discerning buyers seeking quality without luxury markups. In late 2023, industry veterans at Turntable USA acquired the brand, with Roy Hall staying on as consultant to preserve its mission of affordable excellence.
