A €120 ask is fair to slightly strong for a Braun L500/1 in good condition. These were a well-made early-’70s Braun two-way with respectable efficiency and a clean, neutral-school presentation, and the model’s used market has been thin but generally modest: a documented sale at €70 in 2016 and a current listing around €39.95 suggest €120 is above bargain level, though not absurd for a nice, ready-to-play pair.
What makes them worthwhile is the classic Braun build and the fact that surviving examples are often bought by listeners who value design as much as sound. If the drivers and crossover are healthy, they can be a satisfying vintage bookshelf listen with easy placement and real collector appeal. At this price, I’d want intact fronts, original drivers, and no crossover issues; if those check out, it’s a sensible buy for a tidy pair rather than a cheap project.
