This very rare The Fisher preamp "Master Audio Control is from my personal collection. I used this unit with a pair of McIntosh MC30 monoblock power amplifiers. Please be aware: I'm selling this unit at a discounted price because I haven't been able to find why, when set for stereo, one channel keeps dropping out. It defaults to mono and the audio is warm and wide and very distinct in mono, and drives both power amplifiers, but the stereo is elusive.Last month, I replaced all of the 12AX7 and 12AT7 tubes with new high gain, balanced noise & microphonics versions by Mullard from Tube Depot. I also replaced the EZ80 power supply rectifier. I've cleaned the switches and controls. The unit is in very good conditions with some marks and dings commensurate with its age. There is no cabinet with this unit.
