In typical used-CD-player terms, that sits well above what most solid mid/upper-tier older Cambridge units usually command, so I’d only call it fair if this exact model is genuinely scarce and the market has moved up.
That said, the CD3 is the sort of player buyers like for its clean, engaging presentation and straightforward reliability when it has been cared for. A clean, excellent-condition example can be worthwhile if it’s original-owner, fully working, and comes with the remote, box, and proof of recent laser or transport health; without those extras, I’d want a lower number.
