No box because I thought I would keep it in a long time but had a chance to upgrade to further top of the line that I couldn’t resist hence on sale. It’s in as new condition with all accessories included. Pickup prefer but I can pack it in a safe box for sending interstate with a good postage fee. The AVC-500 is a mid-’90s Denon piece that’s more interesting for its build and musicality than for flashy features, and A$1,500 is ambitious for a used integrated unless this is an exceptionally clean, fully serviced example. In today’s market, comparable older Denon integrateds and AV amps tend to land well below that level, so this asking price sits at the high end rather than the sweet spot.
If you specifically want a solid, vintage Denon integrated, the appeal is real: robust amplification, a known mainstream brand, and a likely “kept nice” example if the like_new claim is honest. At this money, though, I’d want proof of recent servicing, original remote/manual, and absolutely no channel imbalance, scratchy controls, or relay/power-up issues before paying up.
