US$3,299 looks fair-to-good rather than cheap for this one: new pricing was around US$4,900, so this sits at a solid discount without crossing into true bargain territory. For a well-kept example, it’s in the right zone for a respected tube integrated, but it’s not so low that condition can be ignored.
The draw here is the Z10’s reputation for a vivid, airy, very natural midrange and that quick, open ZOTL-style presentation that makes it a serious music-first amp. It’s especially appealing if the listing includes healthy tubes, the phono option, original packaging, or proof of careful ownership. At this price, I’d mainly confirm tube hours, verify all inputs and headphone outputs work, and make sure it’s driving the speakers you plan to use.

Linear Tube Audio is an American hi-fi brand founded in 2015 by Mark Schneider, with roots in the long-running engineering work of David Berning and the ZOTL tube-amplifier technology the company builds around. It is based in Maryland and presents itself as a hand-built U.S. manufacturer focused on specialist two-channel audio rather than mass-market consumer electronics.
Its core product line centers on vacuum-tube amplifiers, especially integrated amps, headphone amps, and preamps; the brand is also associated with its ZOTL-based designs, which are a signature part of its identity. Linear Tube Audio is not known as a maker of speakers, turntables, DACs, or cables, and its catalog remains relatively focused compared with broader hi-fi brands.
In the market, Linear Tube Audio sits in the high-end boutique segment. It is best regarded as a niche enthusiast brand for buyers who value tube amplification, careful hand assembly, and technically distinctive design over mainstream scale or broad product breadth.
