Please Note: This following shipping timetable is a guideline and not set in stone. Extenuating circumstance from the shipper or from my personal life can sometimes delay shipment. Things like delays due to Covid-19 which impacts staff shortages and supply chains, multiple buys on this platform in a short amount of time for example, 10 items sold in a 7-day period, or the illness of a child or my own illness or a fire or flood or an earthquake. I understand that most of the latter types of these occurrences are rare. But, even Huge insurance companies allow for Force Majeure (look it up). And, please understand that I am only one person and if you want the rare vintage item you bought to arrive in the same condition it left me, it will take time to pack it and ship it right! And, if something happens like an extenuating circumstance, it will take a little more time to ship! Thank you for your understanding! So, in general, if bought and paid for Monday through Thursday, I will ship out within 72 hours (business days, not Weekends). If bought Friday, Saturday or Sunday I will ship out no later than the following Wednesday! I don't quickly or sloppily pack and ship. I agonize over picking the proper packing materials and proper boxes which I buy for the item AFTER the item is sold. I have dozens of vintage audio items available for sale and I DO NOT HAVE THEM PACKED AND READY FOR SHIPMENT BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD, I DON'T DO IT LIKE THAT! I AM NOT AMAZON OR A LARGE ONLINE COMPANY, I AM A SOLE PROPRIETOR OF A LARGE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE AUDIO ITEMS THAT MY FAMILY COLLECTED OVER 60 YEARS. When you receive your turntable in the same condition as it left me, you will thank me! Please, look at my feedback regarding Packing and Shipping! Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable If you buy 2 or more of my Reverb items concurrently.Ships from San Marcos, CA. Packed safely and securely. I ALWAYS use the (RSS) Reverb Safe Shipping option when shipping an item I have sold in order to protect both you and me, I typically lose money on shipping because of this because RSS costs money. The more rare or valuable an item is, the more it costs to insure! In addition, I don't ship quickly or cheaply. Why sloppily throw a vintage receiver in Excellent condition into a box or poorly wrap it so it gets damaged in transit? I DO NOT DO THAT! I am meticulous with my packaging and I agonize over choosing the proper box that is ideal for each unit. Boxes, especially ones that are the correct dimensions for the item at hand are not always easy to come by. I use high quality double walled electronics boxes especially made for shipping vintage items of this type and if one box in the proper size is unavailable, I may even use TWO single walled corrugated cardboard boxes, putting one box with the unit in it INSIDE another larger box with even more packing material to fully protect the unit and that especially can be costly. So, the Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable if you bundle and buy 2 or more of my Reverb items concurrently! Thanks ; )

About Kenwood

Kenwood traces its origins to December 21, 1946, when it was founded as Kasuga Radio Co. Ltd. in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, by a group of entrepreneurs led by William "Bill" Kasuga. Emerging in the postwar era, the company initially produced electronic components and amateur radio gear, renaming to Trio Corporation in 1960 before adopting the Kenwood name in 1986 to appeal to Western markets—blending "Ken," a familiar name across Japan and America, with "Wood" evoking durability and Hollywood. This rebranding fueled rapid international growth, starting with a U.S. office in Los Angeles County in 1963.

The brand built its legacy on high-quality audio and communications equipment, excelling in home hi-fi amplifiers like the acclaimed 1970 Supreme 1 multichannel model, receivers, tuners, and speakers with innovations such as polypropylene cones. Kenwood also pioneered car audio systems, including the first audio/video amplifier for home theater in 1981 and anti-theft cassette decks, alongside professional two-way radios and amateur transceivers. While maintaining roots in consumer electronics, it expanded into automotive infotainment.

Today, as part of JVCKENWOOD since the 2008 merger with JVC, Kenwood holds a solid mid-tier position in car audio and professional communications, prized by enthusiasts for reliable performance and aftermarket upgrades. Its vintage home hi-fi gear from the 1970s and 1980s commands respect among collectors for robust build and warm sound, though it no longer dominates pure hi-fi markets.
