Offered is „JP30 MM - silver edition - vintage legend - summerdeal“ by Jadis from the category „Tube-Preamp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 9599176275 ends on 07.12.2026 at 16:55 o'clock.
At €3,500, this sits comfortably below the €4,667 median and also under the €6,867 75th percentile, so it reads as a good buy rather than an ambitious ask. It is not quite a screaming bargain versus the €2,621 25th percentile, but it is still priced on the friendly side of the market for a well-kept example.
What makes it appealing is the usual Jadis proposition: serious tube preamp pedigree, a distinctive presentation, and the kind of character piece that tends to stay desirable if it’s been serviced properly and kept complete. The “silver edition” and “good” condition are both positive signs, and at this price the main upside is getting into a respected high-end line without paying top-of-market money; just make sure the valves, phono stage performance, and any original accessories or service history are all in order.

Jadis Electronics, founded in 1983 near Carcassonne in Villedubert, France, by self-taught valve amplifier designer André Calmettes alongside partner Jean-Paul Caffi, embodies a passion for recapturing the emotion of live music through tube technology. Born from Calmettes' amateur radio tinkering and inability to afford commercial amps, the brand quickly earned acclaim for its handmade craftsmanship, with every component meticulously selected and assembled. The name "Jadis," meaning "in olden days," evokes nostalgia while signaling a commitment to timeless excellence in French hi-fi heritage.
The company specializes in high-end valve amplification, producing pure class-A stereo and power amplifiers, preamplifiers, and RIAA phono stages, all handcrafted with proprietary output transformers. These transformers, wound by hand and encased in special resin for thermal stability and low noise, handle up to 2500 watts before saturation, ensuring absolute stability across any load. Jadis has expanded modestly into turntables, CD players, and DACs, maintaining a focus on analog warmth over digital proliferation, with no foray into speakers, headphones, or cables.
Positioned firmly in the high-end audiophile market, Jadis commands reverence as the "Rolls-Royce" of tube amps, prized by discerning collectors for its dynamic, uncolored sound and indestructible build—transformers even carry lifetime guarantees. Recent ownership changes, including Jérémie Malfroot's acquisition, preserve this boutique ethos amid global expansion, appealing to buyers seeking artisanal French mastery over mass production.
