Angeboten wird „Thrax Heros MK2 Class A Amplifier Thrax Dionysos Preamplifier“ von Thrax als Gebrauchtgerät aus der Kategorie „Verstärker (incl. Surround)“ bei audio-markt.de - dem Online-Marktplatz für High-End. Das Inserat mit der Nummer 9958553202 endet am 22.09.2026 um 09:05 Uhr.
Against your recent EUR comps, this is very ambitious: €32,000 sits well above the 75th percentile of €13,872 and is more than triple the €9,856 median. On your own database anchor, it is not a fair-market ask; it needs a very specific justification such as exceptional provenance, rare options, or a package deal with meaningful extras.
That said, this is a respected high-end pairing, and the appeal is clear if you want serious authority, refinement, and system synergy from a proven statement-grade setup. If the units are genuinely clean and complete, the upside is in getting a coveted, hard-to-find piece without the usual uncertainty around cosmetic wear or service history; at this level, I would want to verify condition, included accessories, and whether the asking price reflects both components rather than just one.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Thrax Audio is a Bulgarian manufacturer founded in 2009 by Rumen Artarski, a lifelong audio enthusiast whose passion for sound engineering began in childhood. Artarski's journey through Denmark, where he studied electronics and acoustics at the Danish Technical University, and later London, where he worked in record production, shaped his philosophy of marrying sonic excellence with user-friendly design. The company's name derives from the ancient Thracian region, reflecting Artarski's desire to create timeless objects of beauty. His vision crystallized when he designed a remote-controlled tube preamplifier that could rival the sonic performance of prestigious brands like Wavac and Kondo Audio Note.
Thrax Audio specializes in tube-based electronics and speakers, with a product portfolio encompassing preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and loudspeaker systems. The company is distinguished by its commitment to in-house manufacturing of virtually every component except tubes themselves, employing multiple 300B tubes in flagship models like the Spartacus amplifier and Libra preamplifier. Recent product expansion includes a DAC, broadening the company's reach within the high-resolution audio ecosystem. Artarski leads a design team of five specialized engineers, including experts in tube circuit design with decades of experience.
Thrax Audio occupies the ultra-premium segment of the high-end audio market, positioning itself among the world's most exclusive and uncompromising manufacturers. Pricing reflects this positioning, with flagship components commanding five-figure investments. The brand has cultivated a reputation for sonic sophistication and meticulous engineering, earning recognition at major international audio shows and among discerning audiophiles who prioritize tube-based warmth and detail over mass-market convenience. Thrax represents a niche boutique approach where artisanal craftsmanship and extensive listening validation drive product development.
