At €170, it lands around the low end of the small amount of market evidence I can find, with comparable listings appearing near €180 and a refurbished example discussed around €200; that makes this look like a fair-to-good price, not an ambitious one.
What makes it worth a look is the combination of direct drive, full automatic operation, and the Optonica badge, which tends to draw buyers who want a solid, well-built vintage Japanese table with easy everyday use. If the listing is genuinely excellent and includes the original headshell, dust cover, and a healthy cartridge/stylus, that adds real value. At this price, I’d treat it as a good buy if it runs quietly, starts correctly, and the automation works smoothly.
