A classic monitor, but this asking price is ambitious against your own recent comps. At £1,900, it sits above the £1,787 75th percentile and well over the £1,218 median, so it’s priced at the top end of the market rather than as a bargain.
That said, these are still genuinely desirable speakers: the NS-1000M has a strong reputation for very clean midrange, excellent detail, and serious studio-grade build, and excellent condition matters a lot on a vintage pair like this. If the drivers are original, the domes are healthy, and the cabinets are tidy, there’s real upside in buying a well-preserved example; I’d just want confirmation on foam/suspension, crossover work, and any original grilles or stands before paying this level.
