kr 5,000 is a fair-to-good ask for an SR-636, but not an obvious bargain unless it’s clean, original, and fully working. Comparable used examples show a wide spread: rougher or incomplete units can land much lower, while serviced, very nice examples with accessories can command substantially more, so kr 5,000 sits around the sensible middle for this model.
The appeal here is the SR-636’s reputation as a solid late-’70s direct-drive Sansui: handsome, quick to lock speed, and generally well regarded when healthy. If the arm bearings are smooth, the cueing is steady, and the platter speed is stable, it’s a genuinely enjoyable deck with good long-term upside. At this price, I’d want to confirm the dustcover, headshell, cartridge, and auto/manual functions are all present and behaving properly before jumping.
