Seller's Description

Technische Daten:

* Länge: 1,0 m
* Symmetrisches XLR-Kabel
* Alpha-Core Goertz TQ2 Foil Interconnect
* Original Neutrik NC3FXX / NC3MXX XLR-Stecker
* Technisch und optisch in sehr gutem Zustand
* Aus gepflegtem Nichtraucherhaushalt

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

At €219, this is a strong bargain versus your comparable used-market anchor: it sits well below the €455 25th percentile and far under the €693 median, so pricing-wise it looks like a very good buy. For a niche cable like this, that kind of discount is exactly where value hunters should pay attention.

The upside here is straightforward: Goertz/Alpha-Core TQ2 is the sort of well-regarded cable people usually chase for its clean, symmetrical, low-noise presentation and solid build, and excellent condition matters because cable wear, connector oxidation, and rough handling are the main risks on used interconnects. If the terminations are original and both channels test cleanly, this is the kind of listing that makes sense to grab rather than haggle over.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Goertz

Goertz is best understood as an American audio-cable brand rather than a full hi-fi manufacturer. The Goertz name is tied to Alpha-Core, which says the business began in 1982 in Connecticut, and the cable concept is associated with Danish engineer Ole Goertz; the broader corporate history also includes Bridgeport Magnetics Group in Shelton, Connecticut.

Its core focus is audio cables, especially speaker cables and interconnects built around flat, ribbon-like conductor geometry. That design is the defining Goertz idea, and the brand is best known for models such as the TQ and MI series rather than for amplifiers, speakers, turntables, DACs, or headphones.

In market terms, Goertz sits in the niche high-end cable segment. The brand has a long-standing reputation among serious audiophiles for technical distinctiveness, low-distortion construction, and strong performance over longer runs, but it is not a mass-market or one-stop hi-fi brand.
