What makes it worthwhile is the usual REL strength: it should integrate well with two-channel systems, add depth without sounding bloated, and do a particularly good job with speed and texture. If it’s truly clean, includes the cable, and the driver/amp are healthy, that adds real value on an older sub. I’d mainly check for amp hum, soft bass output, and any sign it’s been pushed hard.
