On pure market positioning, it is pricing like a premium collectible rather than a normal working used deck.
What makes it interesting is the Philips AF887 MK2’s reputation as a solid quartz-PLL automatic belt-drive era machine: if it’s genuinely tested, complete, and mechanically healthy, that can make it a satisfying listener with stable speed and easy day-to-day use. Still, at this price I’d want proof of recent service, a healthy arm lift, intact dust cover, and any factory headshell or cartridge hardware; without that, the ask is hard to defend even for a rare vintage piece.
