A$425 is a bit ambitious for a used Zen DAC V2 unless it’s exceptionally clean with box, cable set, and maybe some remaining warranty; the recent used market I’m seeing clusters more around about A$240–A$350, with a few higher asks closer to A$440–A$600. At A$425, you’re paying near the top end of what these tend to fetch, not a bargain.
That said, it’s still a well-liked desktop DAC/amp for the money: easy USB setup, warm-but-clean sound, and enough drive for a lot of headphones without fuss. If the seller is the original owner, it’s in tidy condition, and the extras are all there, it can still make sense for someone who wants a polished all-in-one and values convenience over squeezing out the last dollar of resale.
