In meinen Augen ist es schon eine wahre Freude den Elac Miracord 770H in dieser Ausführung anzuschauen: Große schwarze Zarge mit Aufbewahrungsfach, glasklare und schwere Haube, schöne verchromte Bedienelemente in Verbindung mit dem messingfarbenen kantigen Tonarm, der Plattenteller mit Scheibe für die beleuchtete Drehzahlanzeige.
Zudem kommt noch der Genuß der Haptik: Die Startaste zu drücken und einrasten zu lassen, die Mechanik sprichwörtlich arbeiten zu hören, zuzusehen wie sich der Plattenteller in Bewegung setzt mit der beleuchteten Drehzahlanzeige des Stroboskops, und zuletzt zu sehen, wie sich der Tonarm langsam auf die Platte setzt.
Ausgestattet ist der Elac 777H mit dem Tonabnehmer STS 455 und einer originalen und quasi neuwertigen Nadel D444E.
Wenn ein anderes System installiert werden sollte, bietet der Plattenspieler eine Vielzahl an individuellen Einstellmöglichkeiten, welche sehr schön und anschaulich in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben werden.
Es lohnt sich den Elac 770H mit einem sehr hochwertigen System auszustatten. Neben der beschriebenen Optik und Haptik werden Sie belohnt mit einem wahren Hörgenuß. Ich weiß von was ich schreibe, denn der Player war längere Zeit mein Zweitgerät.
Der Elac Miracord 770H befindet sich optisch und technisch auch nach rund 50 Jahren noch immer in einem Top Zustand, sowohl optisch als auch technisch.
Im Angebot enthalten ist die neuwertige originale Nadel D444E, eine Bedienungsanleitung in Kopie sowie die abgebildeten Teile für den Plattenwechsel. Der originale 5-polige Din-Stecker wurde schon durch Cinch-Stecker ersetzt.

Timing matters here because this is a late-70s, fully manual/automatic-era Elac before the last wave of mainstream Japanese direct-drive decks took over, so the appeal is more about classic build and charm than modern convenience. At €495, the ask is fair to slightly firm for an excellent 770H; comparable used examples in the market show it sitting around the mid-€300s to low-€500s depending on condition and completeness, with one restored example at about €362 and another listed at about €515.
What makes it worth considering is the 770H’s reputation for solid idler-drive-era engineering, strong automation, and that distinctive Elac sound and presentation when everything is working as it should. In excellent condition, a clean deck with its dust cover, original arm parts, and a healthy cartridge setup can be a very satisfying buy; if it’s been serviced and the changer mechanism is behaving properly, this is the kind of vintage table that rewards a buyer who values character and mechanical quality over spec-sheet chasing.
