Pioneer QC-800A control amplifier. Bought this on Reverb about three years ago with a QM-800 power amp (also for sale on this site). Works perfectly and looks great. Selling because I have another quad setup and don't need a second.Let me know if you have any questions about it!
At US$700, this is above the model’s original price of about US$280 and well above the typical seen-used range, which clusters around US$153-US$460 for recent QC-800 sales, with a US$625.86 outlier on eBay. That makes the ask ambitious unless this one is exceptionally clean, fully serviced, and complete.
What keeps it interesting is that the QC-800A is a respected early-’70s quadraphonic preamp from Pioneer’s classic era, and survivors in good condition are not common. If the unit is quiet, all controls work, and it includes any original accessories or documentation, it has real appeal for a vintage Pioneer system—but at this price I’d want proof of service and very solid cosmetic condition before committing.
