Description:Up for sale is a beautiful, matching vintage Pioneer silverface stack from the famous early-1980s "Blue Line" series. This set includes the Pioneer SA-510 Integrated Amplifier and the matching Pioneer TX-410 AM/FM Stereo Tuner. Condition:Cosmetic: Excellent condition. Crisp silver faceplates, clear glass, intact lettering, and exceptionally clean chassis surfaces with minimal signs of age. Please zoom in on all photos to be sure this Pioneer pair meets your appearance standards, and be aware that vintage items may have small marks that do not show up well in pictures.Functional: Both units are fully operational and have been serviced and thoroughly tested. Controls were cleaned with DeoxIT Fader F5, switches and jacks with DeoxIT D5. Fluoroscan display was calibrated and amp idle current checked. All inputs/outputs work perfectly, controls are smooth, and the amp pushes clean, clear power. Upgrade: The TX-410 tuner has an all-LED bulb replacement upgrade. The display lights up beautifully, burns cool, and will last for decades without needing replacement bulbs.Shipping & Packaging:Audio gear is heavy and fragile. This stack will be sent in a new heavy-duty carton with plenty of custom-fitted PE foam, and shipped with full insurance to ensure it arrives exactly as described. Against a typical used market centered at US$165, this US$250 asking price is above the median but still inside the upper half of the range; with the 75th percentile at US$267, it’s not overpriced, just a bit ambitious for an unknown-condition piece. I’d call it a reasonable ask if the unit is clean and fully working, but not a bargain unless it includes service proof or standout cosmetics.
That said, this is a well-regarded vintage integrated: straightforward, musical, and often attractive to buyers who want a simple, no-frills Pioneer from the era. The upside is in a nice original example that’s been cared for, because these can sound very satisfying when healthy; at this price, I’d want confirmation of all functions, quiet pots/switches, and no channel imbalance or protection issues.
