Die Fachklappe funktioniert gut aber nicht mehr wie am ersten Tag. Mit Kassette springt sie beim Öffnen nicht hoch genug und man muß sie herausfingern, oder etwas anheben.
Also kein wirkliches Problem, daher trotzdem der günstige Preis.
Ansonsten alles einwandfrei mit schönem ITT üblichem Klang.

€95 is fair to a touch firm, not a bargain. Recent asking prices and sold/active examples cluster roughly around the €50–€60 zone for working units, with rough/parts examples down in the €10–€45 range and nicer functioning listings sometimes nudging €60 or a bit more.
What makes it interesting is that the SL 58 is a classic late-’70s ITT portable deck with proper vintage appeal, and decent examples do sell because buyers like the styling and the straightforward mechanical charm. At €95, I’d want at least a clear “fully working” claim, original mains lead, and preferably a clean cosmetic state or proof of recent servicing; without that, it’s more of a patience buy than an instant grab.
