US$350 is ambitious for an Advent 300 unless this one is unusually clean, fully serviced, and well-documented. Typical used mentions put the model more in the US$100–150 range, with vintage listings and reviews showing original pricing around US$260–270 in the late 1970s, so this ask is well above the normal used sweet spot.
That said, it’s a clever little piece: a warm, musical, low-power integrated with a good phono stage and a cult following for simple, satisfying vintage sound. If it’s original, quiet, and recently recapped or otherwise checked over, there’s real collector appeal—but at this price I’d want proof of service, strong cosmetics, and confirmation that the tuner, phono, and controls are all behaving properly.

Advent is an American hi-fi brand founded in 1967 by legendary loudspeaker designer Henry Kloss, who had previously helped build the reputations of Acoustic Research and KLH. The company was originally created to pursue projection-TV development, with speakers introduced partly to finance that effort, and the Advent name quickly became tied to Kloss’s most influential work in consumer audio.
Advent’s best-known products are loudspeakers, especially the original Advent Loudspeaker and later the Smaller Advent, both of which became benchmarks for affordable, high-performance bookshelf speakers. The brand is not especially associated with amplifiers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables; its identity is overwhelmingly speaker-centric and rooted in classic two-channel hi-fi.
