The HK 3400 is a solid late-era Harman/Kardon receiver with a warm, weighty presentation and enough muscle for efficient speakers in a modest room, which is why it still has fans. At this price, though, I’d want proof of full function, no scratchy controls, and ideally the remote; without that, it’s more of a “nice if negotiated down” buy than a straightforward grab.
