That said, this is a respected Denon integrated and the PMA-350SE has the sort of solid, no-nonsense sound that makes it worth owning when it’s healthy: punchy drive, decent control, and enough refinement to keep it from sounding bland. If the cosmetics are honest and it powers up cleanly, the upside is in getting a well-regarded older amp with proper hi-fi credibility; at £180, though, I’d want clear proof of condition and any service history before calling it a buy.
