€500 looks ambitious for a C720BEE; recent used asking/sold examples cluster more around roughly €150–€350, with plenty of listings in the low-to-mid €200s and a clean one at €349. A €500 ask is above that typical band, so I’d want something genuinely exceptional to justify it: fresh servicing, original remote, documented recap, or unusually pristine cosmetics.
That said, it’s a well-liked receiver if you want NAD’s punchy, relaxed sound and a solid built-in phono stage for vinyl. It’s a sensible buy for a turntable system because it keeps the chain simple and musical, but at this price the value hinges on condition and completeness more than the model itself. If it’s truly excellent, fully working, and comes with accessories, it’s usable; if not, I’d wait for a cleaner deal closer to the mid-€200s.
