For a clean used listing, I’d want more than “unknown” condition at that level; there needs to be a strong reason to pay a premium.
That said, the X PRE is well-regarded for giving Musical Fidelity’s neutral, low-noise, no-drama line-stage sound in a compact box, and it can be a very sensible upgrade if you want a straightforward, transparent preamp. If it includes the original PSU and remote, and the unit is cosmetically tidy with no scratchy controls or channel imbalance, the right buyer may still value it—just not as a bargain at €550.
