That said, this is a respected vintage Marantz integrated amp, and the “tested”/warranty angle can add real buyer confidence if the seller is credible. The appeal is straightforward: classic Marantz build, musical presentation, and collectability in a piece that’s usually bought as much with the heart as the head. If it’s clean, fully functional, and ideally unmolested internally, it could still make sense for a fan of the model, but at this level I’d want clear proof of condition, service history, and any included accessories before paying up.
