Rega’s BRIO R has a solid reputation as a musically engaging, no-nonsense integrated, but £600 is well above the recent used-market centre of gravity here. Against 14 comparable GBP listings, it sits over the 75th percentile at £372, so this is ambitious rather than fair, unless there’s something notably special about the package.
That premium only makes sense if the listing is unusually strong: clean cosmetic condition, fully working with no scratchy controls, and ideally original box, remote, and a cared-for single-owner history. The BRIO R is popular because it’s compact, punchy, and easy to live with, so a tidy example can still be a worthwhile buy. At this price, though, I’d want clear evidence of condition and completeness before paying up.
