The reason to buy is simple: these are loved for astonishing midrange transparency, lifelike voices, and that unmistakably “see-through” electrostatic presentation. They’re less about slam and more about realism, and they reward careful placement and sensible amplifier matching. For this price, I’d mainly want proof they’re functioning evenly, with no panel buzz, arcing, or channel imbalance, because age-related service costs are the real variable here.
