Offered is „ASTEL & KERN AK 120 MEDIA PLAYER MIT LADESTATION 64 GB plus 2 x Micro SD je 64GB“ by Astell & Kern as second-hand device from the category „Portable Audio“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 8678074666 ends on 04.12.2026 at 12:26 o'clock.
Should you jump on it at €280? Yes — against your own comparables, that sits below the €297 25th percentile, so this reads as a strong deal rather than merely fair.
The appeal here is straightforward: the AK120 is still a respected portable player for clean, musical output and a solid tactile build, and the good condition plus included cables/accessories makes it easier to buy with confidence. At this price, you’re getting a well-liked older A&K piece with enough of a value cushion that any minor age-related quirks are easier to live with.

Astell&Kern emerged from South Korea's rich audio heritage, launching its first product in 2012 and officially founding as a brand in 2013 in Seoul. Rooted in the legacy of iriver's MP3 players dating back to 1999, the company—now a subsidiary of Dreamus—embodies a philosophy drawn from its name: "Astell" (Latin for star) and "Kern" (German for core), symbolizing an unrelenting pursuit of music's original sound. This origin story reflects decades of accumulated expertise in premium audio craftsmanship.
The brand focuses on high-fidelity portable and home audio solutions, excelling in digital audio players (DAPs) like the iconic AK100 and A&ultima series, alongside headphones, in-ear monitors through collaborations, home audio systems, and accessories. Their designs prioritize advanced noise reduction, proprietary amplifier architectures, and support for hi-res audio files, delivering uncompromised playback without venturing into speakers, turntables, or cables.
Positioned firmly in the high-end audiophile market, Astell&Kern commands respect among discerning listeners for its "Difference in Sound Quality"—a sensory depth that captures the emotion and space of every note. Renowned for luxury builds and cutting-edge R&D, it leads the global premium DAP segment, appealing to buyers who demand superiority over mass-market compromises.
