Chord Electronics Epic Super Twin Speaker Cables I'm selling a pair of Chord Epic Super Twin cables by Chord. Length is approx. 2.45m. I've recently upgraded my system these cables are just big for my new setup. These cables were made off -reel by Carlton Audio Visual. Chord banana-plugs have been used. The banana-plug plastic covers have deteriorated, I would just remove them and give the connectors a wipe before use. Each cable has two pairs, so it can be used as a bi-wire without links or bi-amped. These are great cables, and I didn't want to shorten them, hence the sale. Shipping
Condition is unknown, so the price has to do the heavy lifting: at A$600, it sits well above the recent comp median of A$379 and even above the 75th percentile at A$493, so this is ambitious rather than fair. You’d want clearer justification than “nice condition” alone before paying that much.
That said, this is a respected Chord piece, and the EPIC digital cable is generally bought for lower-noise, more assured digital transfer in a serious system, so there’s real enthusiast appeal if the run length and termination suit your setup. If it’s genuinely pristine, complete, and from careful ownership, it can still be worth considering—but at this asking price I’d expect either stronger provenance or room to negotiate.
