Die Anlage stand die letzten ca. 15 Jahre ungenutzt in unserem Büro. Vor dem damaligen Abbau hat sie noch funktioniert.
Wir haben aktuell leider keine passenden Lautsprecher/Boxen mehr hier, sodass wir die Anlage heute nicht vollständig auf ihre Funktion testen können.
Receiver und Kassettendeck lassen sich einschalten, die Anzeigen funktionieren. Eine vollständige Prüfung der einzelnen Funktionen sowie der Tonwiedergabe war mangels Lautsprechern nicht möglich.
Beim Test des CD-Players DP-3300D ist allerdings ein Problem aufgetreten:
Nach dem Einschalten leuchtete das Gerät zunächst, anschließend begann die Anzeige zu flackern und das Gerät ging aus. Wir haben ihn danach nicht weiter eingeschaltet. Der CD-Player wird daher ausdrücklich als defekt/reparaturbedürftig angegeben.
Altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden, Zustand bitte den Fotos entnehmen.
Schöne ältere Kenwood-Kombination für HiFi-Liebhaber, Sammler oder Bastler. Besonders schön: Beide originalen Fernbedienungen sind noch vorhanden.

Recent market snippets show active asking prices around €180, with others up at about €225 and €400 for especially complete examples, so this one reads as fair rather than cheap or ambitious.
What makes it worth a look is the DP-3300D’s reputation as a serious Japanese-era player: solid build, good DAC-era sound, and the sort of presentation that still suits well-kept redbook CDs nicely. At this price, the upside is strongest if it’s clean, fully functional, and includes the remote, manual, or original box; those extras matter more on a vintage player like this than on a modern one.

Kenwood traces its origins to December 21, 1946, when it was founded as Kasuga Radio Co. Ltd. in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, by a group of entrepreneurs led by William "Bill" Kasuga. Emerging in the postwar era, the company initially produced electronic components and amateur radio gear, renaming to Trio Corporation in 1960 before adopting the Kenwood name in 1986 to appeal to Western markets—blending "Ken," a familiar name across Japan and America, with "Wood" evoking durability and Hollywood. This rebranding fueled rapid international growth, starting with a U.S. office in Los Angeles County in 1963.
The brand built its legacy on high-quality audio and communications equipment, excelling in home hi-fi amplifiers like the acclaimed 1970 Supreme 1 multichannel model, receivers, tuners, and speakers with innovations such as polypropylene cones. Kenwood also pioneered car audio systems, including the first audio/video amplifier for home theater in 1981 and anti-theft cassette decks, alongside professional two-way radios and amateur transceivers. While maintaining roots in consumer electronics, it expanded into automotive infotainment.
Today, as part of JVCKENWOOD since the 2008 merger with JVC, Kenwood holds a solid mid-tier position in car audio and professional communications, prized by enthusiasts for reliable performance and aftermarket upgrades.
