Very nice Technics SL-235 belt drive automatic turntable WiTH STACKING SPINDLE! As you can see, this vintage deck is in very clean condition - silver plinth shows very little wear and the dustcover shows nicely (there is some yellowing on the rear portion of the dustvover and a small nick on the rear center as shown). All feet are present, no cracks at hinges, and all functions including queing up/down, auto return, and multi album stacking tested and working properly. The speed controls have also been treated to ensure no speed drift. A new stylus has been installed on the vintage Audio Technica cartridge. All aging grease has been removed from the inside mechanical components and then re-greased as appropriate with white lithium grease. This turntable is ready to go.Also includes individual album spindle.I will professionally pack and ship utilizing Reverbs Safe Shup program for added buyer protection.Thanks for looking. This is a buyer’s market for this table-top Technics deck, and at US$375 the asking price sits above the US$321 median but well below the US$1,359 75th percentile, so it reads as fair-to-mildly firm rather than a bargain. It is not a standout deal on price alone, but it is also not stretched into premium territory.
The upside here is the usual Technics appeal: solid build, dependable direct-drive-era engineering, and an easy-to-live-with automatic deck that can be a very sensible daily spinner if it’s clean and fully functional. At this price, I’d want confirmation that the arm action, speed stability, cueing, and auto-return all work properly, and that the dust cover and cartridge/stylus are included if you care about plug-and-play value.
