Seller's Description

Aurum Cantus 3VM Bookshelf Loudspeakers These  speakers finished in rosewood are mounted on stands which are included. Both the speakers and stands are um-marked.  The rosewood cabinetry and finish is of the highest quality.,   I have enjoyed these speakers for a number of years and I am often amazed at how much detailed they deliver and the way in which they deal with bass is surprising given the size. Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This is a seller’s market for this listing: at A$2,200, it sits well above the 75th percentile of comparable recent AUD listings (A$1,570), so it reads ambitious rather than fair. Against a typical used benchmark, you’d want either exceptional presentation, rare finish, or extras to justify that gap.

The upside is that Aurum Cantus speakers are generally valued for smooth treble and a refined, airy presentation, so a clean pair can be very appealing if you prize detail and imaging. For a buy at this level, I’d want evidence of excellent cosmetic condition, matched drivers, and complete originality; without that, the price is hard to defend when similar used examples are clustering much lower.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Aurum Cantus

Aurum Cantus is an obscure hi-fi brand with limited verifiable public information available, making a detailed editorial profile challenging without speculation. Known references appear in niche audio forums and reviews, suggesting origins likely in Asia, possibly China, though no confirmed founding year, country, or notable founder can be established from reliable sources.

The brand focuses on floorstanding loudspeakers, as evidenced by models like the V6F, V8F, and New Grand Supreme, which are praised for immersive soundstaging in user discussions. No confirmed details exist on amplifiers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables.

In the market, Aurum Cantus occupies a niche position among enthusiast speakers, often paired with midrange amps in comparative tests, appealing to hi-fi buyers seeking orchestral depth. It lacks broad recognition as high-end, mid-tier, or vintage, remaining a boutique curiosity rather than a mainstream contender.
