This is a late-70s/early-80s deck, so timing matters mainly because surviving examples are old and condition is everything; at US$299, it’s above the typical used lane for this model and reads ambitious rather than fair. Recent asking/sold examples cluster much lower, with working pieces around US$85 and clean serviced examples commonly landing closer to US$65–US$150, while rough or repair-needed ones can be far cheaper.
The upside is that the L-A11 is a solid, well-regarded belt-drive with simple, reliable construction and decent performance when serviced, so a nice original example can still be a satisfying everyday table. At this price, though, the buyer should want proof of a fresh belt, stable speed, a healthy arm and cueing action, plus a good dust cover and cartridge; without those, the premium doesn’t make much sense.
