Compared with a basic modern belt-drive deck at US$349, this is on the pricey side unless the cartridge/stylus is confirmed healthy and the table is fully serviced. Typical used RX2 examples I found cluster around roughly US$150–US$300, with cleaner, working, cartridge-included pieces often landing near the middle of that band, so US$349 reads as ambitious rather than a bargain.
It’s still a worthwhile buy if you want the B&O look and the easy, well-damped automatic operation that made these so appealing. The RX2 is a smart, elegant listen with good fit-and-finish, but value depends heavily on the MMC cartridge, platter behavior, and whether the arm automation is smooth. At this price, I’d want proof of recent service and a known-good stylus before pulling the trigger.
